On 8/26/05 I went to Woodwind Brasswind's website and ordered a violin, and a care kit. I recieved a confirmation email and then a shipping confirmation email showing the items shipped on 8/27/05. On 8/31/05 the violin care kit arrived. I checked the Woodwind Brasswind website and it showed the order complete and both items shipped at the same time.
I waited 2 days and then call Woodwind Brasswind from work. I waited on hold for 20 minutes and had to hang up. I called back again the same day, waited 22 min. And was told that they were changing warehouses and that all instruments were shipping a week late. This was on 9/2/05.
I also contacted them via their website in writing conerning this issue on 9/1/05. The site states that you will recieve a response within 48 hours. I wrote again on 9/8/05 as I have never recieved a response to the first inquiry. I have been in contact with Fed-Ex and have been assured that there was only one package. I believe them because Woodwind Brasswind has the same tracking number listed for both packages.
I have saved all correspondence from Fed-Ex, as well as all paperwork on Woodwind Brasswind. My daughter needed this violin for school and if it was not in stock, as it was shown on the website, then they should have been up front about it. Today is 9/9/05 and we still have neither a violin or a suitable explanation.
