Ipoff Magazine subscription too good to be true

I was contacted on my cell phone by Stacey Jones telling me I had been entered in a Sweepstakes drawing and was elgible for a subscription. She was explained to me that I would have to pay for Time magazine, but that I would receive three other subscriptions of my choice absolutely free.

The cost of Time magazine would be 3.48 a week. About 14.00 a month, right? Wrong. I received a statement for 74.50 to be billed automatically at the beginning of each to my credit card. I immediately called Subscriber Services and asked for Stacey Jones. I was informed Stacey no longer was employed there and my call was directed to A.J..

This person was very rude, crude and sarcastic. I politely asked him to cancel my subscription. He said I could not do that, that it would be billed automatically to my card.

I have since contacted the State Attorny General who said they can be cancelled. Meanwhile, I received a letter from Stacey Jones cancelling my subscription. I didn't realize she was still employed by this company.!!!
