Aka F.R.C. Of Clearwater, Florida Subscriber Services, Inc. Aka F.R.C. Of Clearwater, Florida magazine scam, ripping me off, non-cancellable subscriptions, and charged me without my consent!

August 1st, The day I have received a postcard about, "good news" the adress was from
F.R.C. 1381 S Missouri Ave, Clearwater, Fl 33756-6500. On the postcard it wrote,

Dear Malina
We are trying to reach you with Good News! It is really important that you call us. Call Toll Free 1-877-475-4024 along with a control#, Thanks Danielle Craft, Call 10am to 8:30pm EST. Monday thru Friday. I just thought it was something important, and when i call, they ask me for the control# that is listed on the postcard, and then they congratulate me, telling me that I have been qualified to win $25,000, a cruise or a vacation of my choice. I really don't know how they had all of my information with them like that, but, it was really convincing. They asked, which of the prizes would I like to choose, I chose $25,000, but they will have to put that in the drawing of course, so, then they have transferred me to another call, and this person was offering me all sorts of things, telling me that the magazine of my choice will only be $3.79 a month for 22-24 months, and they will send me 4 magazines, with 2 free ones every month. Then they asked me for my credit card number, and I stupidly gave it to them, and I was so unsure, I asked them if it's right, and that they won't charge me for anything stupid, and they told me how can they do something, if I had called them and that I have their number on the postcard, and then they were talking so much, my head was so overcrowded with so much information they were giving me. I thought it was safe that they knew my credit card information. So, they had given me these numbers if I had any questions, 1-800-854-8098 and 1-800-858-0578. So, the call ended, and I thought nothing of it later that day, until that evening they had called me back, telling me that the subscriptions are $39.88 a month, and I was shocked! I told them, I don't want it anymore, and I want it to cancel, and they told me that it's non-cancellable and that they have already charged me, and how the heck can they charge me without my consent? These people were arguing with me. I don't understand customer service that argues with their customers. Plus, it was just one day I have called, and they have already charged me that much, and I don't even work, I don't have a job, I can't work because of my disablities, and I have a daughter that's turning 2, and I don't even have enough money to do something for her 2nd birthday. I feel that these people are wrong, and that all they want is money, and they are taking money from innocent people. I was fooled by these people, and people are telling me that part of it is my fault because I have called, but what do you expect me to do if you have sent me a postcard telling me it's Good News? So, the subscriber services have sent me a letter, on it, it writes on top, Congratulations! You are officially entered in the "dream come true" sweepstakes and it dated 8/06. It is to confirm that they will be taking $39.88 a month from my credit card for the magazine subscriptions that I no longer want. I called the number that is listed on this letter, 1-800-851-8934. I wanted to cancel, and it hasn't even been 14 days yet, and they were telling me that it is non-cancellable. Then again, these people argue telling me that there is no way to cancel these subscriptions. Aggravated as I was, I looked on the back of this letter, below the federal disclosure information, it writes below the box of it, there's a cancellation policy, it writes there; You may cancel you subscription order without obligation, postmarked within fourteen (14) business days of initial payment. Any payment already made by you will be returned within 30 days. This form of any other written notice should be delivered to Subscriber services, Inc. At the adress on the reverse side of this form. This is to certify that the magazine subscription agreement on: I wrote, 8.9.08 and that fourteen (14) business days have not expired since date of initial payment. I hereby cancel this transaction. Below it, I have to write my name date and my address.
I wonder why I wasn't told of this? All they did was argue with me telling me it's non-cancellable, and I have called back and they told me in order to cancel is to send them that letter back, and that's the only way to cancel the magazine subscriptions. If they were really doing their job, they would have told me a long time ago, that it's only cancellable by letter, that they will call if they have received the letter to confirm that my subscriptions is cancelled.

I think it's just wrong, and they are just trying to take our money, I just hope these people will learn not to take money from innocent people. I hope they will cancel my subscriptions, if not, I have proof, I have copied the letter that I have sent to them. I just hope that they will leave everyone alone and stop lying. Please help. Thanks.
