I want to file a report on this company because I cannot contact the company to get a refund on cancelling my subscription.
About three people came to my neighborhood selling magazines. The person who sold me the magazine subscription was Joshua Clark. He said he was earning points to go on a trip. Very smooth and convincing. I said ok and signed up for the magazine. He called a number for me to give my credit card number too. So I felt comfortable. As far as I know I didn't receive any other charges on my credit card.
When I received the magazine I wasn't thrilled with it and didnot think it was worth the money I spent so I tried to cancel the subscription. I called the number in the magazine. The magazine game me a number to National Publishers exchange. When I called, it was an automated sevice asking for the first letter of my name, the first three letters of my name etc. When I put in the information they gave me a number to call. The first time I called that number a person answered and said it was after hours and call back during the day. When I tried to call during the day the number was no longer in service.
I'm going to send a letter in writing to a couple of addresses I have and see what happens. I did try the website for the magazine itself and none of those numbers seem to work either. I don't know what else to do.
