The quality of food and gift items in these Christmas gifts was absolutely terrible. The mini Candy Canes were pink and deformed; they were soft and gooey like hard candy gets when old.
The ceramic mugs both broke within 2 weeks and not from floor drops. A furry animal also started to shed its "hair" and the stuffing came out.
I bought these at a Dollar General. I got the name of the buyer from their corporate office; I left several messages for him but no calls were ever returned. I also wrote Sherwood directly without receiving a response.
ALthough the three items purchased were less than $30, I still think that this is a ripoff. This type of merchandise should be at the real cheapo stores where all items are a buck or less, not a place like DG. Truly a ripoff!!!
I found out later that the DG buyer is actually a personal friend of the Sherwood people and was told that he would be given as much merchandise as needed at below normal pricing since Wal-Mart decided to cut their purchases with Sherwood by over 80%.
