Target has a policy posted on online that state they will offer a refund or credit when returning an item unopened with receipt. THIS IS NOT TRUE! I took a video game, unopened with seal still intact and receipt, back to them but they refused a refund. They would only give me a gift card to purchase something else. I showed them a copy of the refund policy I printed from their web site but the CS Rep. Stated she was not aware of that policy and refused.
I am currently filing reports against them with the BBB and the Georgia Consumer Affairs Office (along with this report here on usacomplaints.com.
I hope should anyone reading this should ever decide to make a purchase at Target will use caution as they will NOT keep their word or policies regarding refunds.
They lack integrity and honesty. I realize they might continue in their dealings with their customers as they have done me, but at some point the complaints will reach those who can do something about them especially when lawsuits start coming their way.
