Global Casting Network - Showtime Casting - Primetime Casting - Global Entertainment Network
Ripoff, credit card fraud, deceptive little weasels

On 7/1/05 My daughter spotted an ad in our local paper looking for "fresh faces" for modeling and advertising work. Since they offered a full money back guarantee I too was taken in by Global Casting Network. They took my credit card number over the phone, charged my account and set up my daughters account. My daughter called every single day looking for work and dealt with a lady named Temre Potter who it turns out is married to Steven Potter. He is one of the owners along with Neil (Aniello Pallante Jr) Pallante. Temre Potter is listed as Owner & Manager but I think that is only on paper. After almost 2 months of no work not even one call out I asked for my money back.

Even though I asked for my money back within the time limit they have not given me anything but empty promises and blatant lies. I originally asked for my money back on 8/30/05 when I spoke with Mike/Michael. He tried to get me to give them another 30 days but I refused so he said he would issue a refund. On 9/30/05 I spoke with Gina who acted surprised that I had not received my money back and she reissued a refund giving me a reference number.

As of 10/27/05 still no money and now they are not answering their 800 lines. All you get is a machine telling you to leave a message so I left several but no response from them. I kept calling them at different times and days until the end of Dec. 2005 without any response from them at all until I sent an email telling them I was filing an electronic fraud report. They responded to that right away saying that if I did that they could not refund my money and it would be up to my bank to handle it, what a joke. They never intended to give anything back.

What is even worse is after they got ahold of my credit card number I started seeing other fraudelent charges show up on this card and I ended up having to close out the credit card account and get a new number.

I have filed reports with the local television station, the local District Attorney, all the way to our State of Arizona Attorney General and the F.B.I. Who seem to be interested in these people. They have committed a multitude of crimes both over the phone and through the internet so we need every person that was ripped off to file a report so we can get them. I am really trying to get it on the TV so we can reach out to more people that were burned as well.

I don't care if it was only $139.00 it is the point and they picked with the wrong person. I am like a bulldog when it comes to something like this and I don't give up. Anyone else that was burned by them is welcome to jump on the band wagon. I won't give up until I see them being led off in handcuffs to pay for their crimes against the community.
