On December 24. I purchased a King Size Bed from The Dump without the mattress and box springs. Costing a total of $540.17 with tax. I had this Financed by The Dump. And got approved for $1000.00. I did not pick up the bed that day. I picked up the bed on January 6. On that same day I also purchased a King Size Mattress with Box Spring to go with my King Size Bed. The total for the Mattress and Box Spring was $756.67.
That day I picked up both my bed and the Mattress. The Dumps warehouse employees tied it all down on my pick-up truck. On the drive to The Woodlands, I was forced onto the freeway I-45 heading North around the Beltway 8 area due to some blockage on the feeder. Having my hazard lights flashing and driving 30 mph on the freeway shoulder. Some 18 wheeler drove by me causing my Mattress to fly off my truck and it got damaged by vehicles and was a total lose on the freeway.
This happened within 5 minutes of me leaving The Dump. I at least wanted a replacement or a partial refund. Being that The Dumps Employees tied down my load. And I never got one! The Head Manager wanted to give me a replacement for 6 pennies on a dollar. Which to me is nothing? I refused there offer! Being that it would have cost me additional $400 dollars for another mattress only!
So I stopped by Mattress for Less in The Woodlands to find a cheep mattress replacement. I sure did for much cheaper than what The Dump was offering me. On top of that I also got a Better Deal on a whole bed with Mattresses from Mattress for Less for about $1000. So I then turned around and purshed a whole King size Bed and Mattress with Box Spring from them.
I also turned my vehicle around and drove back to The Dump with The Dumps King Size Bed and now just my Box Spring minus the lose of the Mattress on the Freeway. I called the Head Manager Jim Anderson of The Dump and told the Manger I wanted a full refund of what I was taking back. And that I understood if he couldn't refund me for the loose of the mattress. He agreed to give me a full refund minus the lose of the mattress.
Once I arrive at The Dump the Head Manager had warehouse workers unload my truck and only took out the Box Springs. And the Head Manager said he was only going to refund me for the Box Springs. I said wait a minute you told me you were going to give me a refund for everything, not just the Box Spring? He said he didn't care and it wasn't his problem and he wasn't going to do it! He became very Mad Angry with me and calls me an Asshole in front of customers and employees. And even threatened me that he would call the cops on me because he wanted to have me arrested for Trespassing on The Dumps property if I didn't leave!
I then asked for the Corporate phone number and the Head Manger writes the number down on a small piece of paper and hands it to me. I told him that I was going to call the number to make sure it's legit! The Head Manger then tells me, You Little Shit get off my property!
All I wanted was a refund. How hard is that? And all I got in return was a bunch of Red Tap, No Corporation and threats from the Head Manager of The Dump! I'm to the point right now, to sue The Dump and get a FULL Refund or More, instead of just a partial refund! Plus I have no need for the bed I purchased from The Dump. After finding a better deal elsewhere.
There for I want a full refund for the entire bed! And the Head Manager refused to give me that and refused to take the bed. I had to take the bed back home with me after the Head Manager told me he would refund me via our phone conversation! I have gone thru the extreme of calling and reporting The Dump to a local Houston TV News Station to expose The Dump. I even reported them to the Better Business Bureau. Cause I didn't ask to be threatened and insulted in front of 50 people or more from the Head Manage
