We bought a split king mattress and box spring set in October from Mattress Firm. It proved to be defective and had a wire protruding from the side of the mattress. We requested a refund within the 45 day period, and were told we could only choose another mattress. We wanted a full refund, according to their guarantee that was an option, but were refused.
Since we could not get a refund, we chose another mattress which did not prove to be comfortable, and it was so heavy that my wife was injured while turning it. After agreeing to a refund, they refused to take back the mattress, and they left the box springs outside in the snow when they left my property. The truck crew was very unprofessional, they were angry, one would only speak in gestures, they did not introduce themselves, and they left my house without saying goodbye or moving the box springs back into the house.
Mattress Firm does not honor their guarantee and will go to any length to avoid their responsibility. They will not honor any promises or agreements. Do not buy from them. The store manager passes the buck and customer service is unacceptable.
