After a written request to discontinue service (because I was working part-time) T Mobile continued to bill me for two additional months. Now I owe $170 in charges as well as a $200 contract termination fee. I performed my contractual obligation from August to August. I was not told by the representative in August when I called to renew my phone that I would still be liable for the $200 contract fee if I cancelled early. Why should a company be allowed to put a contract fee on cell phone services?! This is all so disreputable, especially since T-Mobile is a mobile telephone subsidiary of Drutsche Telekom, a German corporation. When I called to clear up the problem, I was told by a T-Mobile representative that a collection company would contact me for payment. When they do, I will send copies of the collection letter to the Federal Communications Commission Committee members, T Mobile Washington headquarters and to the headquarters of Drutsche Telekom.
