STAY AWAY from Bauer Comfort USA - rude and obnoxious Russian owned company. They will gladly sell you whatever you want and tell you in case of any problems will refund your money. Only tell you (never in writing!) to get to buy it. Not only they sold me a grossly mis-represented $1,500 item which really cost so little (under $50) that later they started giving it away with purchase of something else, but when I tried to return it because couldn't use it, they changes their rules on the spot claiming that they only issue store credit and always have. I asked a friend of mine to call them and ask and they sure told her no problem, full refund. My friend asked where is such information on their web site, TV ads or anywhere. They just hung up on her and since then she was not able to reach anyone.
I tried to talk to the company Staff and owner several times. He gave me runaround, basically saying I'm stuck, my problem. I tried to return the item Later I unexpectedly found merchandise dropped by my door step - something I never asked for. I paid shipping to return it, but they refused to accept it and it came back.
I no longer can reach anyone there. I'm out of $1,500 and no worthy product. Still today they continue mis-advertise that no problems with returns (as with any US store) but having former USSR mentality couldn't care less about you, the customer. A complaint has been filed with Attorney General of New York, copied to my bank in attempt to recover the money. STAY AWAY from Bauer Comfort USA in Brooklyn NY!!! You've been warned!
