Ripoff Worst Experience EVER At THE SPA CLUB Complete disaster, horrible situation, not very understanding

I went to The Spa Club to get my hair colored. At the time I was a light blonde (highlights) with about an inch of regrowth. The stylist I saw was Jamie, and this was my very first time getting my hair done at this salon.

I told her I wanted my roots touched up, w / dark blonde low lights added. She suggested doing an all over blonde instead, and then doing the highlights and I agreed.

Because of this, the process was 2 steps. She did the all over and then blew my hair out for a couple minutes. I was very confused when she started doing the highlights while my hair was WET! I asked her about this and she said, "Oh, you can do highlights on damp hair" Well, my hair was no where near damp, it was very wet (I have long, thick hair that takes 25 mins to blow dry) and I have since found out by asking 2 other stylist that you are NEVER suppose to color wet hair, that water is actually used to dilute a color, or to stop it from 'bleeding'

So, when she is done I notice my roots are orange. I point this out to her and she says after I wash my hair a few times it will be fine. Umm, okay, so I pay her and leave. When I get home I notice, under my natural lighting just HOW ORANGE my roots are, and as I pull up layers of my hair, it is orange ALL OVER my head. I had an actual line of demarcation, and the underside of my hair was the worst-bright, bright orange.

And, I couldn't even see the higlights; obviously because she did this while my hair was wet.

So, I call the salon and let them know what happened and they tell me to come back in and another girl will 'fix' it.

I go back and a girl named Jen tells me she is going to do a 'bleach cocktail' and that should lift the orange and make it blonde. She does this TWICE and my scalp starts to burn and turn red. The 'bleach cocktail' doesn't work so she tries a toner. When she washes it out and sits me back in the chair my hair was the lightest blonde you could imagine, all over, and YELLOW. I actually had yellow hair, it looked like I was wearing a wig. When I left the salon, a couple people in the parking lot actually looked over at me, and my hair. I cried all the way home and when I showed my boyfriend he was shocked at how badly they had messed up my hair.

The next day, I call another salon and make an appointment to have it fixed. The stylist is horrified they let me walk out of the salon looking like this, and she ends up doing SIX hours of color correction, and then has to go thru and add heavy dark blonde lowlights so my hair isn't an all over blonde-she had to lighten it so much, it get the orange out and she said the reason it turned orange was the bleach was not left on long enough, and she could not believe Jamie did the lowlights while my hair was wet. This cost me $55 AN HOUR to fix, but the stylist felt so bad for me that she let me pay her $200.

When I called The Spa Club and explained what had happened the director told me I should have come back in, and let another girl work on it. Well, why would I do that when 2 of their stylists ruined my hair in the first place? They refused to give me my $ back, even though I had a receipt and note stating what exactly was done to my hair. The manager NEVER returned my phonce calls, even after I called her once a day, and I eventually got a 'credit' to the salon, which was not what I wanted.

Please, be careful if you go to this salon, they hire alot of their girls right out of beauty school, I have since found out, and this whole ordeal with my hair was really awful.
