Ripoff, poor phone service, no response to complaints, continue to bill for no service, will not cancel with out $200.00penility consumer fraud ripoff

Worldcom rep.indicated they had service to all of Az. I took my phone to the White Mts. And could not make a call. Was first told my phone was not working so got a new phone and it also cut me off. Turned my Phone back in in Sept. 2001. Attempted to cancel, file a complaint, and was told to call the 1-800 number, did that and was told I would be charged $200.00 or $250.00 to disconnect earily. Also told I had to do this in writing, wrote them a letter and they never answered. Wrote customer services and they never answered, wrote the billing dept. No answer National Worldcom and still nothing. They have now called me for the over due bill 200.00 plus the early cancellation. This is for their lack of service, and rude treatment. At this time No one could pay me to have worldcom service. Filed a complaint with the AZ Attoreny Gernerals Comsumer complaint dept. And to be sure will tell everyone I know never to use Worldcom.
