I recently dropped Dish network and went back to cable. I called Dish and told them that I needed someone to pick up the equipment. They said someone would be in contact. A month later a empty box is on my door step with instructions to send the equipment back. That afternoon I found that Dish drafted my account for $249.00 when I called them they were very rude and said they could draft it if they wanted to. I told them I would report it to the Bank they responded go ahead but you had better check the fine print on your contract first. Since this time they have made 3 more unauthorized drafts off my account. I must Hot card my Debit card now to keep them from pulling all the money from my account they want. The Balance on my Dish account was only $170.00 and at this time they have pulled $280.00 and cost me $100.00 in bank fees and overdraft fees due to their actions. I had no contract outstanding with Dish. I called before I decided to switch to cable and checked. They told me that I never had a contract with them. I only had a year long contract with the installer and I had the system for 2 years. Taking money without permission is criminal for everybody else in the world why should Dish do it as they wish without any punishment?
