T&H Interiors Construction - Timothy Hicks - Anton Hicks
Ripoff, personal property stolen from home, substandard work

I hired this Timothy Hicks of T&H Interior Construction in March 26th for roof repair and interior upgrades on my house. His bid was the lowest and he'd claimed he would do the most. I wanted 2 rooms painted, wood floors in 3 rooms and tile laid in the kitchen and bathroom.

The grout on the tiles was not sealed as promised.instead of cutting a piece of tile for the edges, he'd fill in spaces with grout. Virtually every plank of the wood floors has gaps and buckles between them. As he was going along, he said he would have to sand the floors and fill in the gaps, so I didn't worry.

Neither the tile nor the wood reaches the walls. There is at least a inch gap. He did not sand or finish the floors. He had disconnected some lights in my foyer, and left them hanging by the wires. He left buckets of paint, grout, glue, and rags throughout the house to harden and to stick onto the floors.

I'd paid him in a total of 7 draws over a 6 week period of for a total of $14,976 which was more than 3,000 over his original proposal which included 2 more rooms to be floored and the job to be completed.in beginning of the 6th week, for the third time, he told me that he had under-estimated the total and would need more money.

This 3rd time, I told him I didn't have anymore money. He left that day, April 11th and I have not heard from or seen him since. I'd left him several phone messages. Needless to say, the job was never completed. Before he left though, he stole over $6,000.00 worth of jewelry, along with other items from my house. (I had to file a police report and insurance claim)

Unfortunately, I felt since I had invested so much money into Tim Hicks of T&H Interior Construction, at the beginning of the project that I had to stick with him. A job that should have taken less than 2 weeks to complete took 6 weeks and still did not get complete. The floors are a wreck. There is so much undone, in each room rugs can't hide it.

I've known Timothy Hicks (aka Anton Hicks) of self owned and operated T&H Interior Construction to work in the Metro Atlanta Georgia, central Florida and south Florida areas. I will be glad to share photos of my home on his last day of work for those of you who would care to see. Beware of T&H Interiors Construction and Tim Hicks.

I am very interested pursuing a suit for damages against him.
