I hired him to do a kitchen and bath renovation. He was very cheap, but I really question the quality of all of his work. The tile was left with tons of grout on it, the lines were super-thick. Some tiles were popping up. The tile was installed without backer-board, a requirement for ceramic. He said that the grout would "eventually" come off. The bathroom wall was caved in, where he jammed the cabinet in. That was ridiculous. He could have shaved the fillers. The tile and grout in the bathroom cracked. I am sure there wasn't a backerboard. The whole job has just been a mess!
