I purchased four (4) Louis Vuitton purses. They were at at reduced price. I asked the sales clerk if there were knock offs
I was assured they were authentic. I asked why if authentic would they sell them for a quarter of their value. The sales clerk said that a they were able to purchase them from a vendor who had a surplus and that they were just passing on the savings to their customers. I was there with my daughters who also heard the same remarks.
I purchased them in August. My strap is falling all apart so I took it back to the store. They basically implied what did I want they were knock offs. I told them of the assurance by their staff that the items were authentic. The sales person I spoke with on 5/07/05 her name is Cindy, she was very apoligetic and said they thought they were real. She offered me an in store credit, I accepted. But then another clerk said to call the owner. The owner said no, I waited too long to return. I said if it in fact was a Louis Vuitton it has
a guarantee that lasts a lot longer than nine months.
I am in fact supposed to get an instore credit for my purse. But I want to still turn them in because they are continuing to sell the purses knowing full well they are knockoffs.
I told them if I wanted to pay $150.00 every nine months for I purse I will certainly put the money towards a Louis Vuitton that I will purchase in Louis Vuitton store, and if it lasts me 10 years since I don't always carry the same bag, I will be much farther ahead.
