I requested a RAL refund check from Tax by Experts on line. This was processed Jan 31. My RAL check was disbursed from SBBT Bank to Tax by Experts Feb 9th. I contacted Tax by Experts to confirm the RAL check was issued. I spoke to supervisor NINA ABRANOV who assured my RAL check was mailed in the regular mail Feb. 10th.
I waited the 7-days I was advised it should take to receive the check. I NEVER received the RAL check & called back & spoke to the same supervisor (2-18-05) who again assured my check was mailed & that I would have to wait until Feb 23rd to request stop payment & have a new check issued.
I called today Feb 23rd & spoke to a Tanisha. She told me she will process a stop/cancell check request & reissue another check. I gave her a $25 Debit card payment to have the new check sent via UPS. She advised me to call around 4pm (2-23-05) to obtain the tracking UPS#.
When I called to get the tracking number the supervisor NINA ABRANOV told me she reissued a copy of the 1st check on Feb 22nd. However, I spoke with her Customer Svc Rep on Feb 22nd & NOONE saw in the computer system that she had processed anything & AGAIN I was advised that nothing can be done until 2/23/05 regarding stopping & reissuing another check.
Today I requested back my $114 fee they charged for RAL refunds & the supervisor rudely told me that I WILL NOT be refunded & that the check she issued 2/22/05 should be receieved by March 1 or 2.
I paid this fee so that I would have my refund in 10 days!
