I tried the free Walmart DVD trial. They only allow seven days to return your last movies after cancelling (Blockbuster allows about three weeks). Anyway, I sent the movies back on the same day and the last of the two arrived on 2/14, which is within 7 days of when I cancelled. However, they charged my credit card anyway. I called and they said they would cancel the charge but it is not automatic.in other words, if you did return the movie but did not call to have the charge removed, they would merrily keep your money. For those who don't check their credit card bills very closely, beware. I think it is illegal to keep a customer's money, when you have received the merchandise back within the grace period. They also say they have no late fees either. Isn't charging if you don't get it back within 7 days, the same thing? Beware... They are out to make a buck (as usual) at the expense of their customers.
