I contracted with Diamond to move in January. My belongings were to have been delivered February 2nd 2005. I had been trying for weeks before scheduled delivery to contact them, but they were not responding. About the 11th of February, I received a call from a member of the Department of Justice. He informed me that they had shut down Diamond / Galore and were attempting to contact the owners of the items that were in Diamond's warehouse so that they could arrange to retrieve them.
I had to rent a truck and move my belongings myself. I have the contact information for the DOJ representative, the deputy Attorney general who is handling the civil action against them and an attorney that is representing persons which have suffered loss and damages dealing with this company. There were many items in their warehouse whose owners had not been identified.
