I too was charged 9.95 last month, i went directly to my bank and told them we didnt make the charge, they had us to sign a affadavit saying we never authorized the charge, they then researched it and here is exactly what was said from my bank.
"This letter is in regards to the dispute you filed against CIC Credit Monitoring. Since this is a recurring transaction you will need to cancel the service and request a credit from the company. We have found a phone number, which may be helpful in contacting the business the number is 1-800-220-2626. My hubands (card-letter said his name) debit card was used for the transactions. If they are unwilling to credit your account we can then try to dispute the transaction on your behalf. We will need a new dispute form, the cancellation confirmation number, and a detailed letter of your correspondence with the company in trying to obtain the credit."
I have just checked my bank account once again, another 9.95 charge was on there this month. I dont know how these people got my husbands debit card number. He never authorized this.
