American Marketing Insurance Leads
Provided dismal service in exchange for $800 refuses to grant a refund Misrepresented th e quality of service

I am a licensed insurance and annuity salesman. My livelihood depends on meeting new people that are interested in insurance or annuities.

I hired American Marketing Insurance Leads to set up appointments in my behalf. They charged me $800 in advance to set up 20 appointments.

Their service was horrible right from the very beginning. My complaints only resulted in automated e-mail replies or promises for improved service, which never materialized.

According to the AMIL web site, they provide top quality appointments.in other words, appointments with people that have a genuine interest in your products. My experience has been just the opposite. Of the fifteen appointments AMIL has scheduled for me, only two people were genuinely interested in discussing products.

Following is my list of complaints against AMIL:
1) According to our contract, AMIL is supposed to schedule four appointments per week for me. They usually only scheduled two or three. Some weeks, none at all.

2) When scheduling appointments, AMIL, promises to stay within the geographic area specified. I specified an area within approximately twenty miles of my home. On several occasions they have scheduled appointments one hundred miles or more from my home.

3) There have been several occasions that the person I was scheduled to see insisted they had no knowledge of any appointment and that no one ever called them to schedule one.

4) Often when I would arrive for an appointment, the individual says they were told I am a representative of the company they currently do business with. This was absolutely not true. They were only told that so it would be easier to get an appointment.

5) Very often, as soon as I arrive for the appointment, the person says they do not want to see me at all, has no interest in hearing about my products, and only scheduled an appointment because they were pressured.

I filed a complaint against AMIL with the Better Business Bureau of the Southland, located in Colton, CA. The Bureau mailed three letters to AMIL and did not receive a response to any of them. Since AMIL is not a member of the Bureau, they are not obligated to respond to complaints. I wish I had checked with the Bureau before signing a contract with AMIL. According to Better Business Bureau records, AMIL has a pattern of providing unacceptable service and that many customers ask for refunds.

Eventually I did receive a response from the Better Business Bureau. I did not understand the response and questiones what it meant. No one has ever replied.

I've filed complaints with the California Attorney General's office and have never received a response.

I see now that American Marketing Insurance Leads has changed their name to Annuity Leads Review, They've moved from Beverly Hills to Santa Monica and changed their phone number. They've changed their web site from marketing-marketing-marketing-marketing.com / to annuity-review.com/. I'm sure this was all done because of the bad reputation they had earned.

If you are an annuity salesperson please do not hire Annuity Leads Review. They'll take your money, set poor quality appointments, and refuse to give you a refund.
