I purchased a new cell phone (Ericsson T610) with $100 rebate from the carrier (T-mobile) from Amazon.com on 9/21 with a new number 857-389-6366 and new contract for $39.99. The phone was advertised with a $100 rebate from T-mobile. Rebate form was available from Amazon.com. I filled out the form and mailed it along with UPC box from side of the phone box and shipping slip from Amazon.com. The rebate center received my rebate form (tracking #5023-81 542495095 0) and on Dec 13 rejected it with the reason number you provided is not valid I called up the rebate center and explained my situation over the phone. The CSR provided me with a new tracking # 5023-81 554725341 0. On Jan 17 my rebate was rejected again for the same reason. I spoke with Jeff (supervisor) who said my form will be put back again into their processing system. I pay for this telephone line for over 5 months already how come the number can be not valid?
