I purchased three handbags on-line as gifts for my friends 50 th birthdays. I received two in a couple of days but not the third. I called a week later only to find out the order was cancelled. I was never notified. Call customer service after 45 minutes on the phone finally was told the handbag was out of stock, even though it said it was in stock, when I order. The girl ordered me a new one and said it was in stock and would ship out in 3-5 days. After a week not handbag, no notification. Called AGAIN. Handbag cancelled. Customer service said sorry we send another. Again was told it was in stock and will ship in 3-5 days. GREAT just in time for my friends 50th surprise Birthday Party. Day before party, no handbag! Called customer service and guess what. Yup cancelled again. NO Notification!!! Asked to speak to supervisor was told she was very busy, I guess a lot of problems, and she with call back by 9:00 pm that night. Guess what she never called. Sent e mail
Complaint and I get back, that's too bad. This handbag was a bag this person LOVED. I could of purchased from other stores but never thought in a million years Lord and Taylor would do this to someone. With modern technology you can t keep your computers up to date. Needless to say after all the waiting I was not able to get the handbag my friend loved because, after waiting so long, all stores were out of stock on the bag. So, the day before party I had to go out shopping for a new gift. Very upset. This was an over $500.00 order. I will not be taking a chance and ordering Christmas gifts on line!!!
