FedEx's website offers customized delivery options, but the site is very unfriendly. What good is it if the drivers are too lazy to look at the information?
I had ordered an expensive Christmas tree, and Balsam Hill unfortunately uses FedEx. I was at home waiting for the delivery. Finally, at 4 pm, I decided to check the delivery site. It stated the package was delivered and left at the front door at 11:55 am. It was not. The driver never buzzed or called at the security gate, although that information was in my profile, and left the item by the road where anyone could have picked it up.
Luckily my son, who lives down the street, was driving by and saw it. The item was 50 lbs, and I never could have picked it up myself. I have only had one lady driver who actually used the information in my profile to deliver to my door. Unfortunately, she was the only one.
