Yes, I was brainwashed from this company from the start... Well, first I called about an ad I saw in the paper concerning charities and special events. Yes. They do charities and special events... But not in a good way! It's basically you stand outside in front of a retail store (k-mart, kroger, walgreens. Anywhere they will let them) and harass customers in helping the charity when basically you are pocketing more than the charity gets.
On my day of "o", I was lied to a numerous of times. I was told you get a based salary for training, full benefits, 9-5 hours. He made me feel like I was hired to be the only "manager". Well, really everyone is hired to be a manager. Where you train from the bottom up and basically own your own office in another city/state..
This company is basically a MLM... Their main concern is recruiting not promotions... Which they lead you to think on the first couple of days. You make money off the people you recruit and the owner makes money off every manager he promotes. They actually have meetings that teach you how to lie and mislead potential job seekers. They tell you to be as vague as possible.
The main reason I left this place... Is that they are soo shady. They pay you cash, talk a whole bunch of crap, and are just soo unprofessional! They hire anyone!!! So don't be fooled, everyone you see in the lobby on your interview. You will see again unless they were smart enough to stay away from this place. Half the people in the office, do not have a degree and think sweat pants is a professional attire!
Also... The pay is performance based... So your pay is never stable. You have to half the profit with your team so you can end up with 15.00 for a full day of work. You go in at 8am and leave no earlier than 8 pm. What kind of a job is this? They say they are helping CPEA, DARE, Toys for Tots... But only 20% goes to them and the owner is getting rich off of this! I don't know why these charities would let them use their name like that!
So my question is why would you want to be a manager? So you can lie and mislead people to think they are doing promotions for a charity. When really they are just recruiting to make the owner rich??? Trust me. If you go through the program it will be more than 6 months... B/c everyone finds out about their shady ordeal and quits.
They have leadership and owner meetings to brainwash you into their cult. They want you to only have this "business" on your mind... They say sacrifice everything to help your future. Well. Guess what you will because you won;t have any money or time!
Well. I have a lot to say. But I'm not going to type all of it. This is a national company (innovage/quantum/grantum).. They just have all of these little companies that are privately owned in many states. So please be careful and don't waste your time.By the way... All of these companies relate back to DS-max. If you get to ownership. JUICE to you for ruining lives!
