Patriot Moving - Used To Be Called NMN
Patriot Moving NMN & Pony X-Press Frauduent charges and you'll never see your furnitue again! & Skokie Illionois

My Roommate and I, went through a moving company called Patriot Moving (www.PatriotMoving.com).
November 23, Melissa was told by the customer service Rep, Christopher Sariol that the move would take 7 to 10 days and estimated it at $2,700 for 4,500 lbs. With a 300 lbs. Padding. He also told her that price included fuel charges, packaging of glass table tops and packaging of pictures along with supplying wardrobe boxes. The $2,700 was a pre-paid quote. She agreed to prepay to receive the $300 discount. Christopher had her commit to a $1,000 deposit (pending approval from the manager for the pre-pay) he then faxed over the paper work, she filled out the proper forms and resent them.

Sunday, November 28th the mover's arrived 10 hours late with no wardrobe boxes and said it would be an addtional $1,000 for the packing of our glass tables and pictures. The moving company, Pony X-Press then told us if we canceled we would lose our $1,000 deposit. Considering we we're suppose to be leaving in 2 days and after they dropped the packaging charge to $345 instead we agreed.

December 3rd, 6th and the 7th we left serveral messages wanting to know what date our stuff would be arriving there was no response.

December 8th after calling over and over again to a receptionist that would not give his name, I finally demanded to speak with a manager immediately or I would be forced to call the police and report our stuff stolen amazingly the manager, Nancy got on the phone. She said we would need to contact Pony X-Press to find out our delivery date. Concerning our extra "packaging charges" she stated Christopher never made such promises and basically stated it was our fault that over the weekend she could not approve our pre-payment to get our discount so we would not receive it. I then tried calling Pony X-Press (888-476-6999 or 847-674-3723; 8025 N. Keating Ave., Skokie, IL 60076) there was no answer or any voicemail recording on either number.
Day thirteen, after letting the phone ring for 4 minutes there was an answer at Pony X-Press. The rude man on the other line who continuely cursed said our stuff would be delivered next week and hung up abruptly. (Dec. 13th - 17th)

Next week arrives, still nothing. Again no answer at Pony X-Press and no response from messeges left at Patriot Moving. We then accrued a lawyer, Derek Emge (619-595-1400) and we are presently putting a class action suit together. Patriot Moving tells him at the end of this week which would be Dec. 16th/17th. Our lawyer then gets the same run around and then is finally told by Nancy at Patriot Moving it would be "next week sometime" and our total cost would be $1,000 deposit already paid plus $2,955 at time of delivery for a grand total of $3,955. It is now day 20 and still no response as to exactly when we might be recieving our furniture. Again, no returned phone calls from Patriot Moving and no answer at the Pony X-Press.
