I was contacted a week or so ago by IPA to schedule an appointment. So 12/20 a salesman shows up and convinces me that our company is in trouble. So I sign up for the analyst and he shows up the next day. We talk, I give him some P&L statements and some balance sheets. He reviews some more, then we talk then he goes to his hotel.
Next day he comes in with all these printed financials. He manages to convince me that we "lost" $150k in profit last year that was "absorbed" through other expenses. We only did 750K this year so it was hard for me to believe that. He also kept referring to profit. I kept trying to explain to him that me and my wife pull out our money in several ways including draws and salary.
Anyway I agreed to 200, yes 200 hours of service @235$ per hour expenses. I am really not happy with the direction of my company, so I guess I was desperate to get some help.
Well something didnt feel right so I did a search and I stumbled across this site and the complaints. I have already contacted them to cancel by phone and fax. I will follow up tomorrow with an overnight letter.
