I was a frequent user of PayPal. One night, I was paying via credit a large sum of money. I specified the payment to be dont by my credit card, however, paypal did an instant transfer from my bank, for no known reason.
As I didnt have that much money in my bank account, the charge was returned, and my bank charged -me - for this. I called PayPal, and they didnt care, in fact, they told me that they'd be trying to take from my bank account -again-. I was being charged by my bak for their constant rejected attempts.
After calling my bank and having them investigate, the agreement was that PayPal would charge the credit card. Well, eventually they tried, but they claimed it was denied. There were NO records from American Express about any attempts to charge, and there is no way this card could have been denied. I've used it multiple times through PayPal, so we all know they had the correct number on file.
So now, I have nearly $200 in fees for my bank, and they couldn't care less that their system is faulty. This company is a big bloody joke. Also, they are very rude on the phone and unhelpful/uncaring.
