My bedroom set given to me as a gift from my mom before she died was the only furniture I had to have moved from Palm Springs, CA to Salt Lake City. Pickup was July 3 - many hours late with no phone call. Junky old truck arrived w/2 men, English was 2nd language. Paperwork was false. They told me my furniture had to go to a warehouse in Los Angeles and would be shipped later to SLC. I was supposed to receive my bedroom set the third week of July - no phone call - AY did not delivery until Aug. 9. Scary delivery men - did not say hi, just said I need $. They lost part of my bedroom set, a 6x4 oil painting and boxes of books. My beautiful floor lamp arrived smashed. They delivered items to me that were supposed to be delivered to a family in Boston, MA. No attempt made by AY to retrieve those items - I sent them to Boston myself! AY said I reserved 4,200 sq ft - no way - I moved out of 1400 sq ft into 1000 sq ft condo. Why would I reserve 4,200 sq ft??? They lie, they cheat. I have been told that anyone with a truck that can afford the interstate license can be a mover. Beware — do not use ay transport or national moving network. You will be SO SORRY.
