Help help help - let's get ay transport. As of right now they are holding our furniture hostage in an attempt to extort more money from us.
We contact ed national movers, through a broker that we paid$550 to. They in turn subcontracted ay transport.
After an initial estimate of $2900.00 to move from murphys, california to durango colorado, they picked up our furniture.
After we arrived in colorado that contacted us to say the estimate was off and we need to pay $6,700.00 to get our furniture. They also demanded $3,300 to be mailed to them prior to our furniture to be delivered to colorado.
We mailed our check to them for $3,300. Our furniture was already late.
They picked up our furniture on 11/29/04 and did n't let us know they had not left california until the furniture was to be delivered.
The movers called us on christmas eve and wanted to deliver the furniture after 7:00 P.M. On christmas day.
We asked that they come back on the 26th at daybreak. Then they proceeded to demand cash from us. Where were we to get cash on a sunday.
They refused to unload however, a few pieces we saw were already broken. They are already claiming these items were broke when picked up.
Also on the outside of the truck they had literally tied someone's sofa, ottoman, and two chairs. These items headed to nebraska were tied outside the truck to get rained on, snowed on and all types of road debris to be collected on them. This is totally unacceptable.
I cannot believe our government will do nothing to protect the citizens of this country from such scum. To begin with actually shipped less furniture than they quoted us on as we decided to sell many large items. However, the final bill is more than double their quote.
Ii have moved many times and every time, my final bill was less then the quote.
Also, i never paid for furniture in advance. These people are scum and crooks.
Theresa is a lying, cheating witch, and someday i hope she will rot in prison with all the other lying drug-addicted scumbags who prey on the innocent and the decent people of this world.
I will gladly help out with anyone who wants to pursue some type of action against these scumbags.

I will celebrate the day all of these scums are in prison. They should be sentenced to life without parole for taking advantage of honest working people.
I cannot believe the people they have ripped off.
Any suggestions prior to delivery tomorrow will be appreciated.
The police will not help at this time, but i will follow up with the fbi on monday and will continue until i get them.
