National Moving Network
Unprofessional, dishonest, fraudulent billing, my move handled by ilegal aliens fraudulent ripoff business slime-ball tricked and lied to us

Me and my family moved from Los Angeles to Las Cruces, NM in September and hired National Moving Network to provide the Moving Service. National Moving Network sub-contracted the services of A.Y. Transport Inc.in San Jose, California (408) 944-9340 to take care of the move.

A.Y. Transport representatives were a Mexican and an Israeli ilegal aliens (information I gathered by starting a friendly conversation with both).

Once in New Mexico, I contacted National Moving Network to request delivery and I was told to contact "John" at A.Y. Transport to arrange delivery. I was originaly quoted by National Moving Network $1,950.00 with a $500.00 deposit. A.Y. Transport then told me that the Bill had increased to $3,662.00 due to excess weight and "Extra Materials" and had to be paid in full before delivery.

I had no other choice but to pay since my wife our two year old girl and myself were living in a hotel waiting for our furniture.
The delivery was late a week. Every time I called and asked for informtaion, "John" would give me different excuses like: "the truck is going to San Diego first to pick up machinery", "we are waiting for more cargo to consolidate a shipment" and "the truck broke in San Diego"

When we finally received our furniture, The load was incomplete! They told us that they could only deliver that because all our furniture did not fit in the truck! But they had someone else's things in the same truck! Again, the kids delivering the furniture were a couple of Ilegal Israelis.

Anyway, four days later the second part of the things arrived. There was only the driver, stating that his partner was sick with fever inside the truck (never saw the partner). Between the driver and myself carried all the heavy furniture inside the house. I hurt my back and a big piece of furniture fell on one of my feet.

A book shelf and an entertainment center arrived broken and two boxes of clothes and papers are still missing.

I purchased additional insurance through National Moving Network and have been trying to file the claim for two weeks unsuccesfuly. A lady by the name of Barbara Berger ext. 2240 keeps on telling me they do not find the copy of my inventory (unfortunately my copy was inside one of the boxes that are still missing, my mistake) and that the lady handling the insurance part of their business is either on vacation or sick or out of the office. If the claim is not filed within the next 10 days, I will have lost $700.00 between the two pieces of furniture. A.Y. Transport does not return my calls since the so called "John" is never there to inform me about my missing boxes.

I finally ws able to find out who the Insurance Company is and called them. It is a Canadian Insurance Brokerage Firm called Marsh Canada Limited. They told me that they have had a lot of complaints of people who purchased insurance through National Moving Network, because National does not file the claims to Marsh.

Bottom line, National Moving Network's license should be revoked and A.Y. Transport should be investigated for hiring ilegal aliens.

Thanks for the time you take to read my report.
