They took away my life.
I know this won't change anything, but if it tips off a normal person not to use these scumbags, it's worth it. I hurt myself at work and have a text message saying they were going to help me with a workers' comp claim, but then when I got a call from these people, it all changed. Now they're telling me I hurt myself walking to work. Well, we all know that's not true, or they would have never offered to help in the first place.
It's been 4 months now with no work, and I'm hurt. I have been able to survive this long by selling everything I own, and it means something, and it sucks. But the most important thing is my blue nose pit that I rescued. I have been alone for 4 years due to the death of my mother. I pulled myself up off the street and became a healthy, productive member of society, and all of that is gone because I hurt myself at their business doing what was asked of me. I shared all of that with them, but come the 7th, I'm done. Living on the streets is next to impossible.
So here's to you - another life come and gone through your company. You should be very proud of this one.
