I was injuried in 1993 working for United Airlines. I broke my back at the L1 vertabra. After dealing with Gallagher and United for 10Years i have seen first hand how Gallagher can screw with peoples life. I have had several surgery's thur the 10years.
The first i was off work for 2 years before Gallagher would pay for the surgery i needed to get help. I had a fusion of the L1 T12 vertabra. After this i had nerve damage and many more problems. I went back to work and worked for 5 years and my back got worse and that bring us to today.
The docter wanted to implant a spinal cord stimulator back in 2001 but Gallagher would not give authorization. Then i had to get a attorney and they started taking care of the surgery.
But I'm still off work and Gallagher Bassett is paying me temp disablity payments well the are suppose to be. They send it only when i call my attorney and have them call them to see were the check is. They don't send the check when they are due. It has been 1 month since i have received a check from them. This is not fair nor good business practice.
This story go on and on but the one thing i wanted to say is that Gallagher Bassett nor United Airlines could care less about you. I have worked for United Airlines for 25 Years and they will not even help. It's like you are just a number. After this period of time with a company you would think they would do everything to help you out but i guessed wrong. They only want to get out of paying me my RETIREMENT. This is sad.
We all know what is going on with United Airlines but what you don't know is what is going on in the inside of this Aieline.
Gallagher is a worthless company with people like Kristy Sands that don't know there #$%#^ from a hole in the ground. Kristy Sands is the ajuster on my case.
I looked on your web site and found several complaints about this company... Don't feel bad guys i have been dealing with this corupt company for 10 years...
