I booked to preform a show on 10/29, opening up for the hip-hop group D12. I had made a verbal agreement with Dave Southworth, for a $200 deposit and to sell 30 tickets at $20 dollars a piece (I would get to keep 200$ of the tickets I sold to get my deposit back). I sold my tickets and gave his associate Jordan Huffman the money to ensure my stage time. 5 days prior to the show, a venue promoter in Massachusetts told me that the show in Manchester, NH was cancelled. I was not given any notice by Dave or Jordan. They did not make an announcement on their website or social media channels. They acted as if the show had never been planned. I contacted Dave and he said all tickets would be refunded. After numerous phone calls and emails, he finally contacted me back and said he would sent my money via paypal. He never did. I went to meet up with him and he never showed up. It has been over a month now and he still owes me over $300.
