Seen this goon at close quarters on his production of MARGERINE WARS. Roaring like a loon displaying his total ignorance of film-making. Roaming round the location talking during takes, yelling at anyone and everyone. Wondering why this or that happened when it was only normal filmmaking practise. A Jew insisting his star wore a 'yamalka' on top of an afro unaware that some Jews were offended by it. On top of which his star looked ridiculous.
But more seriously he fiddles expenses, overnight accomodation accounts, meals, normal SAG breaks. He routinely rips off the crew if he can get away with it. Canned the director, it's said, the day after the shoot - of course, once the film had been shot. Didn't have the courage of his convictions and sack him when he decided he was no good. It's also rumored he cut his fee. Well, thats normal for him.
An ignorant buffon, a dangerously unstable enemy, an idotic Shylock will rip you off as soon as look at you. Whatever you do, if you do business, BE VERY CAREFUL. Dont do backend; dont do deferred. Get your money up front and nail down the deal or he will rip you off. Michigan Film Commission ought to watch out: they are dealing with a crooked fixer will rip THEM off...
