This guy replied to an ad in a Miami film forum back in 2009. The ad specified the details of the job, including that it was for local hire only and the payment was deferred payment. After talking to the director, Michael Silberman decided he didn't like the answer so he sent a nasty email to the producer, who sided with the director. Since 2009 (as you will see by the posting of this report it is now 2012) he has CONSISTENTLY harassed the producer for THREE YEARS via emails, phone
calls, text messages and social networking site. His contact included resorting to name calling, derogatory comments, threats on the producers career, and over all being annoying. The producer filed several police reports backed by telephone records, emails, and eye witnesses. Since Michael Silberman lived in Oregon at the time, the police advised the
Miami film producer that the two available courses of action were either to file a lawsuit in Oregon, or keep the police reports and contact records, and if Micheal Silberman ever came into the state of Florida the film producer could file for a restraining order.
