I had submitted am song, (The Automobile Blues) to Horizon Musicback on about February. I recieved a letter that they were impressed with my words. After I played the song for them over the telephone, they sent me an entirely different version that I played. After I sent it back with a note that it wasn't that kind of song, I bought a tape recorder and sent my intended version. They re-did it and left a message on the end, "Why do you want to do that for, man." After that They said that they would send my song to 200 radio stations and get a $. 20 royalty per air play. Well, the closest station turned out to be in Washington, IN. They made sure that I would not hear it where I lived. I recently got an invitation to get on their laftest album which I did not respond. After sending them a total of at least $1,728.00, I decided, "enough".
Ther were two albums that I participated in and I just cannot do this any more. I was wandering if I could send the song to other companies after all rights have been re-verted back to me.
