Today around 3pm I went into the Woodburn location off of Mt. Hood Ave. With my five year old daughter and the music being played made me want to walk right out. The song's words were, "put your A@ up in the air." Within a minute the next song playing had F&*&* for every other word. I'm apauled to hear this kind of music being played. I have 4years experience in working retail and this was not acceptable any where I have worked. I said to the sales associate why does this kind of music have to be played and she smiled. At the counter she rang up my purchases and after telling me my total I grabbed my things and bean to leave. She asked "don't you want a bag?" I said "no I want to get my daughter away from this music!"
After posting on a networking site of my displeasure a friend told me that when she went in there the other day she walked out.
I sent GENX a email of my dissatisfaction but received no conformation that my complaint was received.
