He asked if I would play piano while he made a video of it on his cell phone. Wnen I hesitated because of the absurdity of that as pertaining to his competition, he quickly jumped to magazine sales. The only magazine that he had listed that had any appeal to me was Atlantic Monthly. I asked if I could buy a year, and he quoted me a price of $ 27. Then he looked at a paper that he produced that he said required two years subscription. Then when he wrote out the order the amount was $ 75.88. He mumbled something about processing fees and shipping. My wife took the company name from the receipt and went online to find it; she learned on usacomplaints.com that the company is identified with scams, and I went to the bank and put a hold on the check.
