On Oct. 27 a salesman named Ken Brown came to my door selling magazine subscriptions for a local college & was competing to win a trip. Since the receipt had the company's address, name & even an area on the back where you can cancel your order within 3 days, so I thought it was legitimate company & he was a legitimate college student. He even gave me a piece of paper to post on my door to ward off other "students" that said, "Bug off-Ken was here".
So I ordered a years subscription to Playstation magazine for my son at $50.00 plus $10.00 processing fee. But have never received anything. I am a single mother (my son's father passed away this year) & on disablity so that $60.00 could have very well been used for something more important to my son & I.
These companies are a disgrace & need to be shut down. So if you see a magazine salesman with Palmetto Marketing darken your door-Slam the door in their face-don't be taken like me! Thank you usacomplaints.com for allowing us to vent!
