I went on line in June to find a ticket to a Tanglewood concert in August. The theatronevents.com site came up each time I searched. It seemed like a good legitimate site. The ticket prices seemd high but I assumed that was a legitmate site and price were market. I could not easily find the Tanglewood site as it was listed under Boston symphony. Each time I typed in Tangle wood, Theatronevents came up. They listed the tickets for $256, and chaged a $50 fee for a ticket that I later found out was selling on the open Market by the Boston symphony for $99.00 plus a $5.00 fee. That put the Theatronevet ticket at a $166.00 premium then they added the $50 fee, plus $15 to send it to me. They then claimed it was not refundable. I was not aware of the price difference unitl I received the Tickets which were marked with the legitamate price of $99. There were always a lot of tickets available to the event I chose and even at the day of the concert, tickets were available. There was never a shortage. Never a reason for the extremely high prices except my nievety in dealing with them.
This company is just plain unscroupolus and deceitful in its presentation and sales methods.
They used to do it with guns now it is the internet! Beware!
