I found out today that MGM Grand is participating in the "Lights out" campaign with the WWW and UN. I am greatly disappointed. The MGM has always held a special place with me. The people I see milling around there are hardly politically correct and are proud not to be. I hate to see this happen. Vegas has always been the place to go to get away from all the Bull of the world and have adult fun. Now it's turning into another 6 flags park.
I am going to search for a Hotel that won't cave to environmental hype. I urge other people to do the same. I feel Vegas should stay out of "current-events" and remain the great town it has grown to be. The Switzerland of the southwest per say. (with a little more vice)
