I have been in the entertainment industry since I was a child. Real castings are rarely on the Internet. They are only sent through your agent via breakdown services. The only castings that you will find is projects that can't find the talent through the agencies, low budget projects, porn, fake modeling jobs. There are a few good castings on sites like the craigslist.
What Explore talent has done is prey on all inspiring talent that do not have any knowledge about this industry. That want to make it so bad until they will do what ever to get noticed. Explore Talent and other sites like them, go onto craigslist and other free casting classified ads and COPY the audition and PASTE it onto their site. Explore talent then charge you for these very same castings that you get from craigslist.
Explore talent also trick many of you by saturating the Internet with many different names and fake sites, fake castings, and when you click on them it takes back to explore talent.
Agents do not charge you, Agents and casting directors do not put real castings and union jobs on the Internet. Not everyone can get these castings, If that were the case, there would be no need for SAG, AFTRA or Agents. Most casting directors do not like the talent to submit themselves, THEY HATE IT! They do not want to deal with the talent, they only want to deal with your representation/Agent/Manager that are franchised. They will just throw your photos in the trash and it hurt your career.
There had been many times that I myself had put out ads on craigslist for dancers, singers and when I was helping real directors that were seeking new talent, And I get so many responses from Explore talent hopefuls. It really pisses me off! I see my ads on Explore Talent without my permission and they are charging people for it. I DO NOT LOOK AT ANY TALENT THAT HAVE THE EXPLORE TALENT LOGO ON THEIR SUBMISSION, AND NEITHER OF MANY CASTING DIRECTORS AND FILM DIRECTORS I KNOW.
Another thing that is so fraudulent that they do is mislead the people and tell them that they are signing up for a free trial, but when talent go to test out the free trial, and search the fake auditions, they are unable to submit unless they join, SO IT IS NOT FREE, IT IS ANOTHER PLOY EXPLORE TALENT USE TO SCAM YOU. Just think of how much money they are making off of many thousands of people. They will lie to you big time, to get you to join!
Any rebuttal by explore talent is only making them look worse, everyone knows that what they are doing is wrong, and it is what it is, to try and rebuttal this complaint and any other complaints make Explore Talent look guilty! They should not even write anything because they are quite transparent and I am so glad that more people are waking up. I want everyone to report them to all the proper authorities. WE NEED TO GET EXPLORE TALENT SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD!
