This is for the Blockbuster employees who give nice big grins when they tell their customers that their rentals are late.
I rented a game (7 days) and the last day conflicted with a flight schedule I had made. My flight was leaving on the sixth day of the rental. No biggie, I would just return it early. I have a morning flight (about 8 A.M.) and it will take me at least an hour to get to LAX. I drop off my rental at 5 A.M. So everything should be taken care of, right?
I arrive a week later and recieve a call from the Blockbuster saying that my rental had been a day late, how??? I went down to the store and produced my airline ticket proving that my rental had been returned well ahead of time.
I just wanted to say that Blockbuster stores are only as good as the employees that work there. This is a clear case where the employees were negligent and did not do their job to the fullest extent. I have also heard of many similar complaints about rentals not being scanned in on time.
