My wife and I just purchaced our first home and we trusted Lowes for our remdeling needs! Every appliance we could not take home ourselfs that they delivered was damaged a $1800.00 side by side fridge with strap marks in the Stainless doors from the Hand truck the one guy even droped a door right in front of me and refused to admit he did it, The front loader washer they took the safety bolts out of it before loading it on the truck and it never worked right we had to get a refund for from the Extended protection plan after it could not be fixed and they left it in out home we were told you got your money back you have to get rid of the 300lb front loader now it's not our problem anymore, now about our newest item our Fridigaire Range the first one the bottom oven had a bad track they said they would fix but never did! After 2 weeks of calling Corprate they finaly called and rudley said they were being forced to order a new range!!! 5-6 days later we got a call from the delivery driver stating the side of the new range had a big dent in it! And if we still wanted it? Yea Right! I demanded to speak to a manager! And demanded a equivlent range off the floor that day! And he did it with out a fight he gave us a Maytag floor model, this was a blind purchace and the range was worth $600.00 more than the original unit, but when we started to use it (My Wife is legaly Blind) we found the door on the lower oven was dangerous for her to use! And I asked for another stove of the original type to be ordered and the shipping carton not to be opened until it arived at my home!!! They did as I asked but I heard a Employee say WTF do these people want now! (I called corperate again on that one!!!) while on the phone asking for the original lower cost range back! Then the range arived unopened when I went down to watch as it was unboxed I saw 2 holes in the box that seemed like they were from a fork lift, when they got it out of the box the bottom drawer was caved in argh now i'm fuming 3 ranges in a row damaged and it is starting to look like no accident to me!!! I said leave it here I will call Frigidaire and get the parts and fix it myself!!! Thankfuly Frigidaire understood what was going on and sent the entire bottom assembly, This was the Johnstown PA store and I have never seen such a disaster of a store in my life I am forced to shop there due to were I live and The HD across the street is worse. I wanted to tell my story and experience since they refused my review of the stove on there website god forbid you tell the truth in a review!!! They can't censor my experience here if you are in the Johnstown Pa area and plan on a major appliance purchace be prepaired to get it home yourself somehow do not let them deliver it!!! And inspect it closley before you leave the store! I'm sure they don't like us but we just want what we paid for undamaged is that too much to ask? Apparently it is at this store there are 2 items we got from them a Bosch Dishwasher and a Whirlpool Microwave Hood Combination with Auto Adapt Fan both that fit in our jeep not one scratch on either.
