I purchased a Vermont Castings Montpelier insert less than a year ago. I was told it would heat my house and burn through the night. I have to fill it during the night and keep it burning all day and struggle to keep the house at 62 degrees. The insert has cracked twice and now the blower does not work. I contacted the dealer and was told it would be 3 weeks before they could schedule a service call. This stove is less than a year old and I am not able to use it. I will no longer recommend Vermont Castings to anyone.
