Kitchen Disaster & Horrible Service

I signed a contract on 4-23-12 for a kitchen remodel. The salesman lied about the time frame & that the only subcontractor would be for the countertop. That company made us take out the temporary sink. Not all the bad cabinets were initially hauled off, the new faucet had a leak & it took 3 attempts to secure my dishwasher. On 5-4-12 I asked the salesman for another copy of the contract cd as mine wouldn't open & that I wanted to look at countertop samples again. He showed up on 6-12 & didn't turn in the order nor did another employee who came out on 6-23. Their executive office in Austin sent me a copy of the contact on 6-22. The 6-4 teardown didn't begin till 6-26. The cabinets weren't the color I expected & cabinet drawers look like they'd been pieced together. My 12" extension was only 9". They finally brought backsplash samples the end of July. One side is open to the living room & the extended side is not flush with the lower existing wall. They can't make it look any better. On 10-5 another subcontractor painted that wall so it would blend with the back of the new cabinets. The subcontractor doing the backsplash fixed a gap left by the countertop people but I still have gaps where the cabinets & furdown meet. My phone calls, e-mails & text were repeatedly ignored. The only time they called me was from my complaints to their Austin rep that was handling my case, which is now closed. Most of the time, no one came the day they should have. When I asked for compensation I was rudely offered a $200 gift card & reminded they sent people out trying to satisfy me.
