My husband is black and I am white. We went into J&K2 yesterday and walked around their showroom for 30 minutes looking at cabinets. There were at least 4 employees in the showroom area, all of which saw us but never even acknowledged us. We made sure to make eye contact with each one, but all would look the other way. One was actually clipping her fingernails! We finally decided to leave thinking they just had poor customer service, but on our way out a white couple walked in. One of the salespeople who had just walked past my husband and I without saying a word, immediately walked up to the white couple and asked if there was anything he could help them with. I find it hard to believe that this was due to anything but the fact that they did not want to do business with us. Their loss: we are doing a $30K cash kitchen remodel with someone else!
