Doesn't help when your two or three month behind payments

My husband spoke to many representatives at CountryWide about how to make a payment arrangement with our mortgage payments. But, he was feed false help. First, back in March my husband called and spoke with the financial department counselar and told them that he had no job and the only money my husband had was from his income tax returns of what was left out of paying the bills and other. One of the counselar representatives had told him that to only pay the principle for the month of March and then that my husband would have to pay the rest in payments. CountryWide knowing my husband was out of work at the time and told my husband that his qualification was only a one time option to just pay principle for the month of March and the rest owed for the April payment to be included with what was being owed for the month of March. Well, April passed by and again before the expiration date of payment came up in April. My husband Called CountryWide again and told again one of the counseling reps. That he couldn't make the April payment because my husband wasn't working and the feed back over the phone by the rep. Was that we had up to six or eight month to go into foreclosure. So, My husband didn't trust what that rep. Counselar said. My husband later called CountryWide again in April and spoke to another financial rep. Counselar and then my husband was told that their is no more options for him because he wasn't working that he had to pay the mortgage somehow. My husband was very worried now because he owed a partial amount for March and then he owed the month of April and then it came to May my husband called back in May to let one of the financial counselars know that he had been hired in a job but the rep., had told him that my husband had owed now partial of March payment, owed for April and May and was told that CountryWide could help him pay for the late payments that he owed just to catch up with the mortgage balance for June. My husband has not recieved anything in the mail from CountryWide stating that he qualified or the payments my husband owed where arranged. It is now June 16 and still no response from CountryWide. My husband only recieved a letter from CountryWide stating that if my husband don't come up with the payments for April thru June that the house will go into foreclosure or be sold to a real estate agent. My husband doesn't want to lose his house especially now that everything is unstable with rent and all. The economy is not going to get any better now or as it seems. I feel as his wife that CountryWide is unfair with their consumers and dishonest with trying to help. When in reality CountryWide doesn't help their consumers they are theives trying to make a profit while those that try to lift themselves up with getting back on their feet to support their families and try to work hard for what their trying to achieve to live happy and comfortable. And CountryWide is doing all the opposite they don't care about your situation your in they just take advantage of it. CountryWide is and Unfair mortgage company. If their is anyone with a similiar problem I and my husband would like to know. My husband doesn't have access to an attorney right now but if their is possibilities for a case let us know anyone out their in California.
